Built by: firma Jos H. Vermeulen (1956)
Replaced by electronic organ (2004)

  • Around 1956, the Vermeulen company from Alkmaar placed an organ in the Sint Josephkerk in Lochem. An existing console from the same company, from a German monastery, was used during the construction. Only one manual is installed, the other was permanently linked to the first. The organ was in a bad condition for a long time. In 2004 it was decided to buy an electronic organ from the company Van der Poel and to place it in the choir of the church. This instrument was put into operation in October 2004. The Vermeulen organ remained in the church, but was no longer in use.
  • In 2022 it was decided to install the Leijser organ from the Sint Andreaskerk in Brummen in Lochem. This organ had been disassembled in 2016 and was in storage. The organ is planned to be consecrated by the end of 2022.
