- De Nieuwe Kerk in Schiedam werd op 6 januari 1927 in gebruik genomen. De firma Standaart bouwde een orgel voor deze kerk. Adviseur bij de bouw was J.H. Besselaar jr. Het orgel is op 31 mei 1927 in gebruik genomen, waarbij de heer Besselaar jr. het instrument bespeelde.
- De kerk kreeg in 1957 de naam Bethelkerk. Het kerkgebouw is in 1974 wegens bouwvalligheid gesloten en is in 1981 afgebroken. Ook het orgel is gesloopt.
