The Sionkerk in Ameide was inaugurated on Wednesday April 29, 1981. In the old building there was a pipe organ by Fonteijn & Gaal from 1956. This has been demolished. Initially a small electronic instrument of the brand Philicorda was placed in the new church. A Heyligers organ was placed later on a balcony on the south wall.
