- The Gereformeerde Kerk in Rottevalle was inaugurated on November 3, 1937. An electric unit organ was placed in the church at that time by the firm Valckx & Van Kouteren. During the inauguration it was played by Mr. A.P. Oosterhof from Leeuwarden, who had also been involved in the construction as a consultant. Because this instrument was in poor condition, another organ was built in the years 1996-2002.
- This was built with old material from a number of demolished Vermeulen organs (from the Baptist church in Leeuwarden and the Sint Christophorus church in Schagen), supplemented with a few large pipes that were stored in a barn with a farmer and an old console from Rouveen. The organ of the Baptist Church on the Trompstraat in Leeuwarden dated from 1915, and was originally built for the Proveniersstraatkerk in Rotterdam, and had been in Leeuwarden since 1976. The Schager organ was built in 1930 and was decommissioned in 1981. The organ from Schagen was used as the basis for the construction.
- Under the direction of Oebele van der Veen and Tamma de Hoek, members of the congregation worked on the organ. The work started in 1996, and the organ was ready for use on November 17, 2002. Consultant during the project was Tjibbe Heidinga. On November 23, 2002, an open day was organized with a concert by Wybe Kooijmans.
- A few years later an electronic organ of the Hauptwerk Mixtuur type was installed.
