- Under consultancy of Bas Wijnands, the Van den Berg & Wendt company built an organ for the Gereformeerde Kerk in Boornbergum in 1967. It was inaugurated on October 14, 1967. It was played on this occasion by Piet Post, organist of the 'Grote Kerk' in Leeuwarden.
- In 1991 the organ was revoiced by Sicco Steendam and the disposition was slightly altered. The Gemshoorn 2' of Manual I and the Prestant 2' of Manual II were swapped. The Mixture has been reduced by one chorus and moved up to 2' base. Finally, the Cimbel of the second keyboard has been replaced by a Nasard. In 2010, the Steendam company carried out a major cleaning.
