  • The Nebo Monastery was opened in 1924. The complex consisted of a seminary, a monastery, a monastery chapel, a seminary chapel and a large monastery church. The whole complex was designed in an Italian Renaissance style. In 1954, the Vermeulen company from Alkmaar installed an organ, which, according to a book about the church, originated from Sweden. However, there are no further indications for this. The organ was overhauled by Flentrop in 1992.
  • The monastery was sold to a housing association in 2003. After a final celebration on November 23, 2008, the church was closed. The last monks left on December 1, 2008. The monastery building is being converted into apartments.
