1993 Kaat & Tijhuis  restoration

In early 1969, Fonteijn & Gaal installed a new organ in the chapel of the newly built hospital of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. It had two manuals, an independent pedal and a total of 13 stops. Consultant was Prof. Dr. F.C. Tribe. In 1993 the organ has been overhauled by Kaat & Tijhuis, whereby the disposition was slightly altered. The Cymbel of Manual II has been modified to a Quint 1 1/3', and the Schalmei 4' of the Pedal has been replaced by a Bassoon 8'.
