L'orgue comprend le parent le matériel: Windchests and pipes de 1767 de Albertus Anthonie Hinsz
Bakker & Timmenga used the old positive chest and some pipes from the Hinsz organ from Sexbierum when building the organ for Boornbergum. The organ was completed in 1925. In 1939, Bakker & Timmenga replaced the Clarinet 8' with a Voix Céleste. The organ was restored in 1983 by Pels & Van Leeuwen.
