- In the years 1970-1976, Mense Ruiter built a new organ for the Kandelaarkerk in East Groningen. The organ was not completed: there were still two empty slides on the main windchest, and four empty slides on the positive. The pedal has an electric unit chest. The Kandelaarkerk was of the domination 'Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt)'. The church was closed in 1999. The organ has been dismantled and was stored in the Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt) in Roden, pending a possible sale.
- In 2002 the organ was bought by the Gereformeerde Gemeente in Doetinchem. Under the advice of Stef Tuinstra, it was installed in this church after a renovation had been completed. The organ has also been expanded and the previously present unit pedal with electric action has been replaced by an independent pedal with a mechanical windchest. There are still seven registers not installed. The organ case has been enlarged, and the front has also been modified. On 19 March 2005, the instrument was taken into use in Doetinchem. Stef Tuinstra played it on this occasion.
- The church building was later given a new name: the Kruisbergkerk (Cross Hill Church).
