In 1920, the Dekker company from Goes supplied an organ for the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Stadskanaal-Noord. In 1963 it was decided to replace it with a new instrument. This was built by Van Vulpen under consultancy of Willem Hülsmann. The prospect of Dekker was reused. On January 22, 1964 the organ was put into use with a recital by the consultant.
The organ was overhauled in 2016 during a renovation of the church. These activities were carried out by the company Van Vulpen. The stop list has been slightly changed: on the upper manual the Nasard 1 1/3' has been moved to 2 2/3' and the Octave 1' has been altered to a Terts 1 3/5'.
