- In 1963 Vermeulen built a new two-manual organ with electric tracture for the chapel of the Sint Antonius Hospital in Utrecht. This instrument replaced an existing organ from C.H. from Brussels from the 1920s. Construction consultant was Dr. P.J. de Bruyn. The instrument was dedicated on Ascension Day 1963 (23 May). The organ consists partly of units and transmissions.
- In 1977 the organ was sold to St. John the Baptist church in Wijk bij Duurstede, because a new organ for the hospital had been ordered from Elbertse. The previous organ of this church, built by Maarschalkerweerd in 1873, had already been demolished in 1963. An electronic organ had been used since that time. The Vermeulen organ was installed in the church in 1977.
