The company Pels & Zn. built a new large organ for the Sint Mauritiuskerk of Silvolde in the years 1943-1948. The organ has mechanical slides chests, but the key and stop action are electrically connected. The instrument was dedicated on July 16, 1948. Consultant Caecilianius Huygens played the organ on this occasion. All reed stops were placed later.
