• In 1888 the Van Oeckelen firm built a small organ for the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Vries. It has been preserved in its original state. The Cornet's inscription is incorrect: the register has only three choirs, and not five. The organ may have been purchased via an advertisement in 'Het Orgel' of May 1886, in which the Van Oeckelen company offered an organ for sale with the same stop list.
  
• In 2006/2007 the organ was restored by Mense Ruiter. This restoration could be concluded on September 4, 2007 with an festive inauguration program.
