- The organ of the parish church in Hoogerheide was built in 1887 by the firm Van Dam & Zn. for the Gasthuiskerk (Hospital Church) or Kleine Kerk (Small Church) in Zierikzee. It replaced a small organ by Maarschalkerweerd & Stulting from 1847 with only 7 stops.
- When Marcussen built a new organ for the church in Zierikzee in 1963/1964, the Van Dam organ was transferred to the chapel of the Stapelen monastery in Boxtel in 1964. The instrument was painted in green, white and gold on this locaton. The organ could be dedicated on November 28, 1964, with a recital by Hans van der Harst, who also acted as consultant during the relocation.
- In 1977 the monastry was closed, and the chapel remained out of use. The organ was sold to the parish in Hoogerheide. It was dedicated in this church on September 30, 1979 in the parish church Maria ten Hemelopname of Hoogerheide with a concert by Hans van der Harst. The Vermeulen company transferred the organ. It is located on the church floor on the choir. The church in Hoogerheide is a neo-gothic church, which was dedicated in 1888.
