- The Proper organ of the Reformed Church in Hengelo (Gld) was put into use on April 13, 1895. At the time, the performer was J. van Dissel from Brummen. It was the first organ that Proper built as an independent organ builder. Six ranks were taken from older organs, the other pipes were ordered at the German company Laukhuff.
- The instrument was restored by Hendriksen & Reitsma in 1976 and expanded with an independent pedal and some new stops. Advisors for these activities were Hans Kriek and Jan Boogaarts. The organ was put back into use on September 14, 1976.
