Het orgel in Kapel-Avezaath is geschonken door het echtpaar Van Wijk ter gelegenheid van de vierhondertste Hervormingsdag op 31 oktober 1917. Het werd gebouwd door de firma Van Dam uit Leeuwarden. Er is ouder pijpwerk in verwerkt. In 1993 restaureerde Pels & Van Leeuwen het orgel onder advies van Aart Bergwerff. Op 5 februari 1994 nam men het weer in gebruik met een bespeling door de adviseur..
