- In 1872 a new parish church was opened in Wijtgaard. The small organ that had previously served in the former shelter church was demolished. In the first instance, no organ was purchased yet. However, temporary use was made of the house organ of Taeke Jans Roorda, organist of the church. Thanks to a gift from Grietje Jans Roorda and her son Taeke Jans, an organ was ordered by the company Van Dam. This instrument was put into use in 1878. The Vermeulen company from Alkmaar restored it in 1965.
- In the church there is a three-manual electronic organ (Johannus Opus 330), which is used more often than the pipe organ. The loud speaker 'prospect' of this instrument is installed on the balcony, next to the pipe organ.
