- In 1955 a large new organ was inaugurated in the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Zevenbergen, built by D.A. Flentrop under the consultancy of Jaap Hillen. The previous organ was lost during the war, when German soldiers blew up the church tower in 1944. The organ was built around the rose window, which is located in the west wall of the church. The organ has been designed by J. de Wilde from Breda, and the wood carvings are created by the company Jacobs Wernar from Leeuwarden. The original specification of the organ was a two-manual instrument with 20 stops and an attached pedal. The organist of the church donated the money for a third manual and the pedal stops. Flentrop installed the third manual as a Swell in one of the pedal towers. The organ was dedicated on 23 March 1955.
- In 1992 the reeds were renewed. During an extensive renovation by the Van den Heuvel company in 2002, the stop list was adapted on a few points. The Cimbel III of the Zwelwerk was replaced by a Zweving 8', the Schalmei 4' of the Pedal was modifed to a Trumpet 8' and the composition of the Hoofdwerk Mixture and the Scherp of the Rugpositief was modified. The purpose was that the structure of these stops would fit better with the rest of the organ. Jaap Hillen was consultant during the restoration.
