- Due to a fire on November 14, 1875, the organ from 1819 of the Old Church in Soest was lost. This instrument had been a gift from the Prince of Orange, the later King William II. In 1876, J.F. Witte a new instrument, which was put into use on August 20, 1876. This organ was a gift from King William III.
- The church building was restored in 1957/1958. The organ was dismantled in 1958 and stored at De Koff, but was never rebuilt. A new organ was installed by The Koff in 1960. The prospect was a design by ir. Van der Steur. Almost all pipes from the old organ were used for the new instrument. This was officially opened on November 28, 1960 with a recital by Adriaan C. Schuurman, construction advisor, and Maarten Kooy, church organist.
- A start was made in 2010 on fundraising for replacing the De Koff organ with a historical instrument. In 2017 the installation started of an organ by Van Gruisen by the firm Reil. The De Koff organ was demolished in 2017 by the Steendam company. With the exception of Witte's material (wind chest, klaviature and pipework), the material was destroyed. Witte's material will be used along with other Witte parts to create a totally new organ in the style of Witte.
