  • The organ in the parish church of Ootmarsum was built in the years 1812/1814 by Franz Friedrich Epmann, organ builder in Essen (Germany). The old organ of the church was taken to their new church building by the Reformed Congregation when the church was returned to the Catholic Parish. While building the new organ, Epmann used a lot of old material, much of a very old date. These materials are of unknown origin. In 1870 the organ was considerably modified by the Oldenzaal builder Gerardus Elberink. The number of mixtures has been reduced and some other stops have been added.
  • In 1948 Jos. Vermeulen from Alkmaar carried out repairs. A number of ranks appeared to have disappeared from the organ. Only in 1973 was a thorough restoration started, under the advice of P.J. de Bruijn and Hans van der Harst. This restoration was also carried out by Jos. Vermeulen. The organ was ready in 1974. It has not been returned to its original condition. Four stops from 1870 have been preserved. Five others were reconstructed. The organ was redidcated on March 24, 1974. The pedalboard has a compass of 27 keys (C-d'), but on the windchest there are only 20 tones (C-g°).
  • In April 2006, Flentrop started a new restoration. In 2018 the instrument was restored by Van Vulpen.
