  • The Church of John the Baptist was built in 1875/1876 by Alfred Tepe. Because the organ from the previous church was too small for the new church, a new instrument was ordered. Gideon Thomas Bätz's organ from 1781 was sold to the Reformed Church in 's-Gravenpolder. The new organ was built by the Maarschalkerweerd Company in 1879. The organ case has speaking pipes on both the front and the left side. The instrument was placed on a gallery in the south transept. The left side of the organ faced the choir and the front towards the aisle. The organ was dedicated on June 24, 1879.
  • By J.J. Elbertse, the organ was overhauled in 1934. In 1946-1947 the organ was renovated by Elbertse and moved to a gallery on the west side of the church, above the main entrance. The work was completed in June 1947. The Doublet of the first manual was changed to a Mixtuur III ranks. The second manual was expanded with a pneumatic wind chest with three stops (Quint 3', Wood Flute 2' and Terts 1 3/5'). The restoration was supervised by advisors P.J. de Bruyn and A. Ramselaar.
  • The organ was restored by Verschueren in 1969-1970. Consultant was Dr. P.J. de Bruyn. The instrument was moved to the church floor, in a chapel on the south side of the choir. The added windchest from 1947 was removed, but with the Quint and Terts Verschueren constructed a Sesquialter, which was placed on a extra slide. The Fernfluit 8' was replaced by the Woudfluit 2' from 1947. The Salicional 8' from the first manual was replaced by the Viola di Gamba from the second. The Salicional was shortened to a Zingend Prestant 4', while some pipes were also used in the conversion of the Violoncello from the pedal to a Bourdon. In June 1970, the organ was inaugurated again.
  • The Elbertse company moved the organ to a new wooden gallery in the south transept in 1998. In contrast to the original arrangement, the main front was now directed towards the choir.
  • The organ was restored in 2022-2023 by the Van Vulpen company. Consultant was Rogér van Dijk. The original disposition has been reconstructed. The foot control of the bellows has also been restored. The organ has been turned a quarter turn, so that it is again positioned as it was intended in 1879.
