- In 1777 Willem Hendrik, Baron van Rouwenoort, Lord of Langen and Ulenpas donated an organ to the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Drempt. The instrument was inaugurated on May 19, 1777. The builder is unknown. Over time, the organ has been modified. In the course of the nineteenth century the stop list was altered, but it is not known who did this and when exactly.
- Around 1960 the organ was dismantled and stored at the Van Leeuwen company in Leiderdorp. After the restoration of the church, the question was whether the organ would also be restored. It was in bad shape. Johannes Legêne was commissioned in 1962 to draw up a recommendation for restoration, because Monumentenzorg (governmental foundation for the preservation of monuments) wanted to pay half of the costs. There were still five stops from 1777 almost entirely present. However, research showed that these were much older and had to be dated to the first half of the seventeenth century. They had originally served in an organ with a short octave, as the notes Cis, Dis, Fis and Gis were missing. It is very likely that the pipe work originates from the old organ of the Eusebius Church in Arnhem, built by Van Haagerbeer in the years 1640-1644. This organ was demolished around 1770 by the Wagner firm, after which part of the pipework on a small wind chest was sold to an unknown buyer. It is quite possible that this concerned the baron, after which he had the organ finished by an unknown builder. The wind chest would then be Wagner's hand.
- The restoration plan meant the reconstruction of the possible original specification, partially renewal of the mechanism and restoration of the organ case. The Van Leeuwen firm completed the work in 1964. The case was repaired by the Daniëls brothers from Arnhem, while the painting was done by Jakobs from Velp.
