  • Petrus van Oeckelen built an organ in the church of Tjamsweer in 1845. He used a windchest and pipework by Timpe from 1830. The instrument was installed in Diever by the Van Oeckelen brothers in 1882. They made a new organ case with parts of the old one, a new bellows, and almost entirely new mechanics. The organ was put into use on Easter Monday, April 10, 1882.
  • In 1955 the organ had to be stored during the church restoration. Lukas Rinkema from Woldendorp disassembled the instrument. Relocation followed in 1959, during which the organ case was painted white and the warehouse bellows were replaced. Mense Ruiter carried out a mainly technical restoration in 1982. The pedal board was replaced by an old Van Oeckelen pedal. The organ was restored again in 1992. Advisor on the restoration was Stef Tuinstra. The organ case has now been painted in its original color again. The organ was put back into use on June 13. It was played by Stef Tuinstra and by the organist of the church, Mar Bruinzeel.
