- In 1976, Flentrop built a new organ in the Nieuwe Kerk at the Leusderweg in Amersfoort, dating from 1924, inspired by the eighteenth century style. The instrument replaced an organ by Valckx & Van Kouteren from 1927, a pneumatic organ with 15 stops. In December 1976 the new organ was put into use. The organ was then given a Werckmeister III temperament. In 2008 the instrument was cleaned by Flentrop.
- In 2020/2021 the organ was restored and expanded by Sander Booij and Martin Butter, completed by Mense Ruiter Orgelmakers, which was taken over by Booij in the course of 2020. The Trumpet of the Pedal moved to the Hoofdwerk and was supplemented with new pipework. A new 16 ft Fagot was placed on the vacant space on the Pedal, partly modeled on the Fagot of the Freytag organ in Finsterwolde. The new Trumpet is divided into bass and treble, as well as the previously continuous Sesquialter. This stop became two positions. Half-opened only the treble sounds, fully opened the complete stopt. Furthermore, the organ has been technically checked and minor adjustments have been made, while the intonation was also optimized. Finally, the temperament was changed from Werckmeister III to Young.
