Albert Reiser werd geboren op 3 september 1874 te Beuren. Hij werkte bij de firma's Mönch, Späth en Schlimbach. In 1906 kon hij de werkplaats van Schefold overnemen in Biberach. Het bedrijf groeide hard, en Reiser bouwde zeer veel orgels in het zuid-westen van Duitsland. Na de dood van Albert op 29 september 1947 in Biberach werd het bedrijf voortgezet door zijn zonen Albert (1909), Johann (Hans) (1907-1982) en Josef (1917) onder de naam Gebrüder Reiser. In 1983 werd de bedrijfsleiding overgenomen door Hans Peter Reiser, geboren op 19 april 1943 in Biberach als zoon van Johann Reiser.
