Balthasar Conrad Euler (19 July 1791 – 11 March 1874) was the son of Johann Friedrich Euler (1759-1795) and Anna Elisabeth Heeren, daughter of the organ maker Stephan Heeren. His father had been an organ builder in Gottsbüren since 1784. Balthasar continued the business after the death of his father. But because he was only four years old, the company was run by Johann Kuhlmann and his mother until his adulthood.
