Adrian Spamann was born on January 2, 1843 in Lindau on Lake Constance. He learned the trade at the Dalstein-Haerpfer firm in Boulay, where he also established himself in 1886 as an independent organ maker. From the beginning he built organs with cone chests. From 1895 with pneumatic action. His new organs were built between 1888 and 1910. On April 19, 1919, he died in Boulay.
