Joseph Joris (1859-1920) was born in Zichem. He had worked from about 1890 to about 1905 together with his brother François (1861-1937) under the name Gebroeders Joris from Ronse. Around 1905 Joseph settled in his birthplace Zichem. After his death, his sons continued the business.
