Troels Krohn started an organ workshop in Hillerod in 1945. He was a student of Frobenius and Marcussen, among others. From 1954 his son Finn Krohn also worked in the company. The company was dissolved in 1988. Finn Krohn had his own company since 1979, under the name Frederiksborg Orgelbyggeri
