The organ contains older material: Prospect from 1783 by Abraham Itter
In 1780-1783 Abraham Itter built an organ for the Kreuzbrüderkirche in Düsseldorf. The organ case was made in late baroque style. The monastery church was closed in the French period. The organ was sold in 1813 to the Evangelical-Lutherische Gemeinde in Radevormwald. In 1898 Ernst Röver built a new pneumatic organ in the old organ case. This organ was replaced in 1980 by a new mechanical organ by Karl Schuke. The front pipes are still left over from Röver's work.
