- The Pauluskirche in Ludwigshafen-Friesenheim was damaged in the Second World War, but could be rebuilt. In March 1951, a fire broke out. As a result, the Walcker organ from 1902 was lost. After restoring the church, Paul Sattel built a new organ in 1952 with thirty stops, including one transmission. Four stops were only prepared for. Some ranks have been taken from the old organ. The organ was constructed with cone chests and electrical action.
- In 1969 Werner Owart carried out an overhaul. During this work, the prepared stops have also been installed. But not everything was carried out according to the original plan. Instead of the planned Dulcian 16' of the Schwellwerk, a Weidenpfeife 8' was placed, and instead of the Bärpfeiff 8' a Krummhorn 8'. The Superoctav 2' of the Schwellwerk was used by Owart for the new Rauschpfeiff of the Hauptwerk, and a new Superoctav 2' was installed. He replaced the Nachthorn 2' of the pedal with a Trompete 4', for which pipework from the Trompete van het Hauptwerk was used. Owart placed a new Trompete 8' on the Hauptwerk.
- The organ showed more and more technical problems, when in 1991 it was decided not to carry out any more restoration work. In 1997, the Mühleisen company completed a completely new organ, in which three stops have been taken from the Sattel organ. These were all registers from before 1951.
