Sulkavan Kirkko was built in 1822. In 1964 Kangasala built a new three manual organ. Consultant was Tauno Äikää. The front was designed by Erkki Valanki. On November 14, 1964, the organ was examined by the consultant. In 2003, the company Sotkamo carried out an overhaul.
