Jonas Ekengren built an organ for Breds Kyrka in 1775. The prospect of this instrument has been preserved. The current organ was built in 1908 by Johannes Magnusson and placed behind the front of Ekengren. The Magnusson company carried out an overhaul in 1925. In 1961 the organ was restored and modified by Bo Wedrup. He replaced the Salicional 8', Violin 8' and Trumpet 8' with Kvintadena 8', Waldflöjt 2' and Mixtur. The Principal 8' and Oktava 2' were changed to a Principal 4'.
