The organ contains older material: Organ case and five ranks from 1823 by Johan Niklas Söderling
Johan Niklas Söderling built an organ with ten stops for Västra Tunhem's Kyrka in 1823. In 1880 Salomon Molander carried out a restoration. The Söderling organ was replaced in 1905 by a new eight-stop instrument, built by Johannes Magnusson. He took over the case and some registers from the old organ. In 1938 the organ was converted and expanded to sixteen stops by the Danish firm Frobenius. Nordfors & Co. carried out a renovation in 1958, during which the disposition has been modified.
