The organ in Brastad's Kyrka has a remarkable history. This is the fourth organ that was built in the church behind the same front. The original instrument was installed in 1877 by Anders Victor Lundahl and was an 11-stop organ. In 1920 the company Nordfors & Co. replaced this by a pneumatic organ with thirteen stops. In 1953 this was replaced by a new Lindegrens Orgelbyggeri organ with eighteen stops. The current instrument was built in 1984 by Hammarbergs Orgelbyggeri. It is a two manual full-mechanical organ with 22 registers. The prospect pipes are also from Lundahl's first organ. These have been made speaking again.
