- The Middle Collegiate Church in East Village, Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1891-1892 in a gothic revival style, after a design by Samuel B. Reed. The pipe organ in the church was built in 1931 by the company Odell as opus 591. It was located on the front side, in two organ chambers on both sides of the chancel. Odell expanded the organ with an antiphonal organ in 1951. The instrument had been rebuilt and enlarged in 1988 by the Austin Organ Company. The specification listed here is from the 1988 instrument.
- There has been a rebuilt in 2008 as opus 4 of the company Marshall & Ogletree. They built a virtual organ, with a new console, using the original instrument with a great number of digital stops. Consultant for this work was Cameron Carpenter.
- A large fire, started in the building on the left side of the church, destroyed the church except for the spire and the facade on December 5, 2020. The organ was lost.
