Rantasalmen Kirkko was rebuilt in 1989, according to a design by Carl-Johan Slotte. In 1990 Veikko Virtanen completed a three manual organ. Consultants were Eero Väätäinen and Pekka Rönkkönen. The instrument was inaugurated on April 8, 1990.
