  • The Capitol Theatre in Offenbach am Main is located in the former Synagogue. This building was erected in 1912-1916, after a design by Fritz Schwarz and Karl Wagner. In 1915 a pipe organ was installed by Walcker (opus 1849) with 35 stops. The interior was lost as a result of destructive fires in the Kristallnacht, November 9-10 1938. But the outside and construction were not damaged badly, and the building was taken into use as a cinema in 1940. After the war, the Jewish congregation didn't want to have the Synagogue back, and the building became the property of the city in 1954. Since 1998 the Capitol Theatre is located here.
  • In the theatre is no real pipe organ. A digital instrument was installed, with a console from Klais, dating of 1956. This console was built for the organ of the church of Sankt Johannes vor dem lateinischen Tore in Sieglar, and became redundant in 2001. The software is of Hauptwerk, with a sample of the Walcker-orgel of 1916 in the Martinikerk in Doesburg in the Netherlands.
