- De Presbyterian Church in Terang werd gewijd in 1894. De kerk is ontworpen door de architecten Reed, Smart & Tappin. Het gebouw is opgedragen aan de herinnering van John Thomson. Het orgel in de kerk werd in 1902 geplaatst. Het is oorspronkelijk in 1879 gebouwd door William Anderson voor de Holy Trinity Church in Kew. De firma Fincham & Son plaatste het over, waarbij het door hen is gewijzigd.
- In 1971 voerde de firma Hill, Norman & Beard een restauratie uit. Het orgel is sinds 1902 niet meer gewijzigd, met uitzondering van de windmotor die geplaatst is in de jaren twintig of dertig. De firma Goldfields Pipe Organs restaureerde het orgel in 2010.
