The organ at Gesu Church in Milwaukee was originally built in 1899 by the Kimball Company, and was purchased for the church in 1908. This instrument was converted and expanded in 1955 by the Kilgen company. The current situation exists since a reconstruction by the company Schantz in the years 2010-2011. Much pipework was reused in this rebuild, as well as Kimball's organ cases. Material has also been taken from the organ that stood in the Lower Church, built by Johnson and Wangerin.
