- In 1804 Lambertus-Benoit Van Peteghem built a new organ with thirty stops for the church of Wambeek, which had been enlarged not long before. The old organ, a small instrument by Egidius Le Blas from 1766, was taken in.
- In 1853 the organ was cleaned by Polycarpus Cappuyns, and a new pedal keyboard was also installed. A certain mister Crabbé renewed the keyboard in 1858 and added two registers. Edouard Van Peteghem installed a new bellows in 1866.
- More drastic was the renovation in 1911 by the Van Bever company. They emptied the back positive and placed this work in a modified form as a Récit Expressif in the main case. A new console was manufactured, with an independent pedal. The disposition has also been modified in a romantic style.
