De Sankt Knudkirche in Nordstrand is in 1866 gewijd. Van het eerste orgel van de kerk is het front in neogotische stijl bewaard gebleven. Achter dit front bouwde Ulrich Babel een nieuw orgel. Het is ontworpen in samenwerking met Karl-Friedrich Ascher, organist van de kerk.
