The small organ (Hochpositiv) on the north gallery of the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Geisenheim was built at the end of the eighteenth century. It was discovered in the attic of the chapel in Mittelhofen in the Westerwald. It was in bad shape. After a restoration by Hans Peter Mebold in the years 1992-1993 it was placed in the Wallfahrtskapelle in Beselich. It was dedicated here on May 15, 1994. It served in the chapel until 2014, when a larger organ was purchased. It was then transferred by Mebold to the chapel of the Bischöfliches Konfikt-Internat in Hadamar. In May 2019 it was transferred to the Rheingauer Dom in Geisenheim. It is placed here on a gallery on the north side.
