The Kleine Kirche or Trinitatiskirche in Kleve was consecrated in 1621 as an Evangelical Lutheran Church. The church building was used as a warehouse during the French period. In 1817, after the merger of the Evangelical-Lutherische and the Reformierte Kirche in Prussia, the church was taken into use as the second church of the Evangelische Kirche, next to the Große Kirche. The building was badly damaged in 1944 and 1945, but was rebuilt in 1955. In 2000 a box organ was installed in the church, built by Van Rossum. Since 2006, the church building has been set up as Offene Kirche in the center of Kleve. The new organ was dedicated on June 10, 2000.
