The organ in the cathedral in Warsaw comes from the Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Landeshut (now Kamienna Góra). The organ was originally built in 1725-1729 by Ignaz Menzel. In 1888 the disposition was changed by Schlag & Söhne, Schweidnitz. A major reconstruction was carried out in 1905 by W. Sauer, Frankfurt/Oder: new pneumatic action for the second and third manuals and an extension of the disposition. After 1945 it was moved to Warsaw, but without the original Rückpositiv. In 2009-2010 it was restored by Andrzej Kamiński from Warsaw. The playing action was made completely mechanical again, the stop action electric. The keyboard was renewed and the disposition was extended with seven new stops.
