Na de afbraak van de oude kerk van Saint Mary Moorfields aan Finsbury Circus in 1899 startte men met de bouw van een nieuwe kleinere kerk in Eldon Street. Deze kerk werd op 25 maart 1903 gewijd. In 1910 plaatste de firma Corps & Son een tweeklaviers orgel. Het instrument is in 1959 gerestaureerd door Noel Mander.
