  Hugo Spilker  restoration and enlargement

In 1860 the Walker firm supplied a small organ to the Church of Saint-John the Divine in Victoria (the "Iron Church"). It remained there until 1891, when a larger organ was purchased. The Walker organ was now moved to the Church of Saint-Barnabas, also in Victoria. In 1912 a larger organ was also purchased here. Since then the old organ has been in Duncan in the Church of Saint-John-the-Baptist. The organ has been preserved in its original state. Hugo Spilker only added a Mixture.
