- The organ of the Kościół Świętej Trójcy in Gdańsk was originally built in the years 1616 to 1618 by Merten Friese. In 1703, Tobias Lehmann converted and expanded it with an independent pedal, which was housed in a new case on the right-hand side of the organ. Rudolph Dalitz worked on the organ in 1757 and made some changes. In 1914, Otto Heinrichsdorff placed an almost entirely new interior with pneumatic cone chests with 58 stops. The old organ case, the front pipes and the pipework of a few other stops were nevertheless preserved. In 1960, Ryszard Plenikowski placed a new organ in the cases with electro-pneumatic traction.
- After a long period of research and preparation, the organ was reconstructed in the years 2011 to 2018 to the situation of 1703. The work was performed by Kristian Wegscheider, Dresden and Szymon Januszkiewicz, Niedalino. In a first phase, the reconstructed Rückpositiv was delivered in 2012. The main part of the organ followed in 2018 and on June 3rd, 2018 the organ was inaugurated again. The still existing historic pipework has been restored and reused.
