The Younger Hall of the University of Saint Andrews was built in 1929. For a long time an electronic organ was used. In 1990 a pipe organ was installed by Alexander Edmonstone. The instrument was built in 1975/1976 for Selwyn College Chapel in Cambridge. The organ case dates from 1935-1937, and was made by Rushworth & Dreaper. In 1998 the Dulzian 16' by Swell was replaced by a new Contra Oboe. The lowest octave of the Dulzian has been retained.
