1983 Oberlinger Orgelbau  restoration

  • After the construction of a new church in Wolfstein in 1867/1868, the company Ladegast was commissioned to built a new organ. It was ready for use on September 5, 1869. The organ has two manuals and an independent pedal with a total of 20 stops. The instrument was later rebuilt by Wilhelm Rühlmann. For a long time it was in bad shape.
  • Demolition was considered in the 1960s. In the end, a reconstruction of Ladegast's work was chosen with a few changes. The company Oberlinger carried out the work. On September 4, 1983, the organ could inaugurated again. It is one of the few Ladegast organs in West Germany that have been preserved.
